Liliane Luneau was born in Cholet, France.  She lived in Sheffield, England for four years, where she taught French, then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1980 where she studied at the University of Minnesota, before coming to Kent, Ohio in 1984.  Luneau received a BA degree in Art History and a BFA degree in Studio Art from Kent State University and went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Kent State University in 1991.  Luneau currently lives and works in Kent, Ohio.  
 
She has shown her work throughout North East Ohio, including solo shows at the Bonfoey Gallery and Artscollinwood, Cleveland and group shows at the McDonough Museum of Art, Youngstown and Fireland Association for the Visual Arts, Oberlin. She has also exhibited her work in Columbus, Houston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and New York and has had solo shows in Angers and Cholet, France.
 
Her work is in public and private collections including Baker & Hostetler, Cleveland; Charles Schwab; Cleveland Art Association; Cleveland Clinic Foundation; Cuyahoga Community College, Westlake; Developers Diversified Realty Corp., Cleveland; First Energy, Akron; Forest City Enterprises, Cleveland; KPMG; McDonald Hopkins, Cleveland; McDonough Museum of Art, Youngstown; PNC Bank, Cleveland and Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Cleveland.
